Microsoft has provided 2 links for SQL Express Edition -:

If we apply SP2 on top of Advanced Services, this do not upgraded to SP2.  So, in order to get rid of the version problem use the below tool to completely remove the SQL Express edition and apply the advanced services with SP2.
